was 1983 when local man John Couch decided that a being a toolmaker was no longer
for him, and retrained as a carpenter and joiner.
After five years of
working from home and a further three in a small unit at Treorchy, in 1997 he
decided to move to his current location and expand into the thriving business
that we see today.
Fred and his team of skilled craftsmen have earned a local

to name but a few. All can be made in a variety of hard and soft woods and all
can be bespoke manufactured to customers specifications.
